This webinar will be a general introduction to litigating removal cases before the Immigration Court. The presentation will begin with a discussion of the possible charges of removability and inadmissibility, as well as strategies for holding the government its burden of proof. The presentation will go on to address the various defensive applications for relief that can be filed in Immigration Court to prevent deportation. The presentation will briefly discuss possibilities for appellate review, as well as what options may be available after a removal order has been entered by the Court.
