The Nevada Justice Association and the State Bar of Nevada are pleased to announce applications for these legal specializations will be accepted beginning August 1, 2018 through September 20, 2018.

The purpose of Personal Injury Specialization or Workers' Compensation Specialist is to identify to the public and the Bar those lawyers who have demonstrated superior knowledge, skill, integrity, professionalism and a high degree of competence in the field of Personal Injury or Workers' Compensation so that the public can more closely match its needs with available services, and to permit lawyers to better serve the public by increasing the quality of legal services.

Partial list of qualifications to qualify as a Personal Injury Specialist or Workers' Compensation Specialist:

* Be admitted to practice law for 7 years, 3 years in Nevada

* Have handled at least 8 contested jury trials*

* Spend 25%-33.3% of your time solely in PI practice

Successful applicants must past both written and oral exams. 

Written exam: November 2, 2018  ●  Oral exam: November 30, 2018
