NTLA Welcomes a New Sustaining Member

All of our members are essential to the success of NTLA, but the extra financial commitment our Sustaining Members make allows your association to expand its valuable services and programs.  The Nevada Trial Lawyers Association is pleased to announce our newest Sustaining Member, John E. Lambert.

John E. Lambert

John E. Lambert practices primarily in the area of personal injury and workers' compensation.  He is licensed to practice law in all courts of Nevada and California, the Federal District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Lambert is a member of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Washoe County Bar and the Elko County Bar.

A Vietnam veteran and Marine, Mr. Lambert earned a BA and a Master's degree from San Diego State University and a JD from Tulane University in 1991.  Prior to a career in law, Mr. Lambert worked as an English teacher, designing English language programs for foreign militaries as part of the sales of weapons and weapons systems.

Mr. Lambert has worked for the Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers in Carson City, and for SIIS (now Employers Insurance Company of Nevada) representing the insurance company in workers' compensation cases, which provided a unique perspective on the workers' compensation system.  Additionally, Mr. Lambert worked for the Attorney General's office, representing the Nevada Department of Transportation and defending the state in personal injury, eminent domain, civil rights and employment law cases.
John moved to Elko, Nevada in 2001, and joined Easterly, Armstrong & Lambert, which later became Armstrong, Lambert & Kidwell.  John represented hundreds of individuals in personal injury and workers' compensation cases.  In addition, John performed all of the appellate work for Armstrong, Lambert & Kidwell.  He also did all of the civil litigation in State and Federal District Court for the law firm.
Recently, John started his own law practice, but he remains in the beautiful and historic building that was formerly the home of Armstrong, Lambert & Kidwell at Sixth and Pine Street in downtown Elko.  Today, John is practicing law under the name John E. Lambert, Ltd.  The mission of this law firm is to offer dedicated representation to all clients.  For more information, please go to
